These trio didn't re-invent new genres, but they definitely know how to make it work. «Occupied» started with a smashing guitar, sews tawt lines between the drums and vocal. Is upbeat and straight song, bridging the gaps between the dirt of garage with hints of 80's hardcore and the punk rock era. The result is a juicy sound that feels dusty and refreshing at the same time.
«Occupied» by Unstuck is a fast-paced punk — Anarchist with an enormous attitude. The debut single certainly managed to capture the individuality and sound of the band. These guys know exactly what to do next, and they are not afraid to look back. The roots of great punk rock music can be the perfect way to move forward.
Clocking in at just over two minutes and twenty seconds, but «Occupied» will leave you wishing to press down on the rewind button and start it over and over again.
